API Developer – Full Stack (TypeScript, AWS)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer with strong full‑stack capabilities to design and build scalable backend services, APIs and system integrations. The role is primarily backend‑focused, leveraging TypeScript and AWS to deliver secure, reliable cloud‑native solutions while also contributing to frontend components when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build and manage RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement robust integrations with SaaS platforms, payment providers, CRMs, ERPs and identity providers.
• Architect event‑driven and asynchronous solutions using AWS messaging services.
• Develop cloud‑native applications with AWS serverless and container technologies.
• Create reusable TypeScript libraries and shared services across multiple products.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization workflows (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, OpenID Connect).
• Develop frontend components with React and TypeScript when required.
• Set up automated deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise production systems.

Required profile

• Strong backend engineering mindset with full‑stack capability.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern Node.js development.
• Proven experience designing integration‑heavy enterprise applications.
• Solid understanding of scalable cloud architecture on AWS.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
