Allied Health Team Manager

About the role

Ignite Healthcare is a clinician-led, community-based allied health provider working across Melbourne, offering care in homes, schools, communities and hubs. Due to its growth, it is looking for an Allied Health Team Manager to lead its West hub. The manager provides treatment to disabled, paediatric and elderly clients in their own environments and leads a team of Speech Pathologists, Behaviour support practitioners, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists using a multi-disciplinary approach.

Key responsibilities

• Support interdisciplinary team members at the hub to meet business objectives.
• Help team members develop their skills and take part in the hub culture.
• Promote business development objectives.
• Achieve key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Speech Pathology.
• Registered with AHPRA or SPA.
• Experience in the disability sector (NDIS, My Aged Care Home Care Package).
• Proven people management experience, or willingness to take the next step in a career.
• Passion for helping a diverse range of clients, excellent verbal and written communication, and strong customer service skills.
• Current driver's licence.
