Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - KC-30A and C-27J

About the role

Northrop Grumman is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to work on the KC-30A and C-27J aircraft that support the Australian Defence Force. The aircraft are used for heavy airlift into complex environments and to keep aircraft airborne longer. The position requires Australian citizenship, a protected security clearance and involves travel about 10% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Work hands-on on avionics, structural or mechanical systems
• Execute scheduled, unscheduled and defect maintenance as part of a high-performing team
• Diagnostics, repairs and delivery of aircraft back to service safely and on schedule

Required profile

• Australian citizenship (defence security clearance required)
• Ability to hold and maintain an AGSVA security clearance
• Competency in aircraft systems, AMD and local work instructions
• Police checks and employment screening verification
