Advertising Sales Executive (Media)

About the role

Seven West Media is looking for an Advertising Sales Executive to join its Bunbury team. The role combines account management with new business development: you will grow existing client relationships while seeking out new opportunities and connecting with businesses across Bunbury and the wider South West. You will work with local publications such as the South Western Times, Bunbury Herald and Harvey-Waroona Reporter to develop tailored print and digital advertising solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities by engaging with existing clients and actively seeking new accounts.
• Understand clients' needs deeply and build a targeted sales strategy.
• Achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Create high-quality sales proposals and strategies and present them confidently to clients.
• Provide after-sales services as requested and give constructive input on advertising strategies.
• Identify, assess and manage business and revenue risks as they arise.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a customer service or sales environment (retail, recruitment agency, real estate, telesales, hospitality).
• Genuine desire to work closely with clients and help them get the best return on their investment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised, able to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Valid Australian work rights.

Required skills

• Computer literacy, especially with MS Office applications.
