Advanced Allied Health Assistant - Cancer Care (Hervey Bay and Maryborough)

About the role

Queensland Health is recruiting an Advanced Allied Health Assistant for its Cancer Care Support Team across Hervey Bay and Maryborough hospitals in the Wide Bay region. The role supports patients throughout their cancer care journey, promotes wellbeing and enhances quality of life, working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to patient-centred care and improve the patient journey for people undergoing cancer treatment by providing multidisciplinary Allied Health Assistant services as part of the Cancer Care Support Team.
• Provide advanced clinical support tasks for clients, as delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professional.

• Remuneration package valued up to $97,963 per year, with salary of $78,477 to $85,860 per year.
