Additional Assistant – Kindergarten (Ovens & Murray Region)

About the role

We are looking for additional assistants to join our local kindergarten team in the Ovens & Murray Region. In this role you will help create an inclusive environment where every child, including those with disabilities and high support needs, can participate fully and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Support all children in the kindergarten setting, adapting activities to meet diverse needs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with families, colleagues and external service providers.
• Observe and communicate any factors that may affect a child’s participation or the program’s operation.
• Ensure open and timely communication with both direct and extended team members.

Required profile

• A genuine belief in Scope’s mission to enable people with disability to live as equal, empowered citizens.
• Commitment to inclusion and participation in an early‑childhood setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong teamwork skills.
• Desire to make a positive impact in the local community.

Required skills

• Satisfactory Working with Children (WWC) Check – Employee.
• Current NDIS Screening Check (within the last five years).
• Valid Australian working rights; International Police Check if applicable.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
