Accounts Receivable Officer – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Covetrus is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join its APAC Finance team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. Based at the Northgate head office, you will support a high‑volume portfolio of veterinary clinic accounts across Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong, ensuring timely collections and strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of APAC customer accounts, performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Open and close customer accounts in line with company procedures.
• Conduct collections activities and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Respond to account enquiries, process receipts, and allocate payments across the three regions.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders on new account set‑ups, enquiries and contract terms.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit within a large, complex organisation.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume accounts in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills for phone and written interactions.
• Resilient, adaptable and able to work independently while contributing to a team.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with finance systems.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
