Account Manager – Building Solutions

About the role

CSR is seeking an Account Manager to join its Hobart team, driving growth of its interior and exterior building systems portfolio. The role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge to become a trusted advisor for builders and contractors, helping them navigate construction challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and expand the portfolio of brands such as Cemintel, Hebel, Bradford, Gyprock and Himmel.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors and sub‑contractors to generate repeat business.
• Manage pricing approvals, credit terms, contract renewals and rebates.
• Monitor competitor activity and propose growth strategies based on market insights.
• Maintain accurate pipelines and customer data using Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align objectives and share market intelligence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or account management.
• Background in the building industry or technical sales is highly desirable.
• Comfortable engaging with the technical aspects of construction.
• Strong understanding of market segments, channels and competitive landscapes.
• Experience working with installation sub‑contractors and related services.
• Ability to generate market insights and present compelling cases for change.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
