Account Manager, ANZ

About the role

GBG is looking for an Account Manager to lead its portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to activation and driving ongoing account growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to retain and expand the existing customer base within the SMB segment.
• Provide accurate sales forecasting and maintain data integrity using CRM tools.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers, including executive and C‑level contacts.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Marketing and Product teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
• Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
• Partner with the new‑business team to ensure seamless handover and rapid activation of new accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management.
• Commercially driven and results‑oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing client needs and create value through innovative approaches.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
