Account Executive – SMB New Logo

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a high‑energy, commercially driven Account Executive to join its Sydney sales team. This true hunter role focuses on winning new business across an assigned SMB territory, guiding customers through the full sales cycle and showcasing the power of Salesforce, CRM and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow an assigned SMB territory, developing strategies to acquire new logos and drive revenue growth.
• Build a pipeline through proactive prospecting, outbound activity, referrals, events and account‑based engagement.
• Lead conversations with SMB leaders about AI, automation and trusted customer data, introducing the Agentforce platform.
• Run high‑quality discovery sessions, craft compelling value propositions and manage the full sales cycle from qualification to close.
• Collaborate with Solution Engineers, specialists, partners and internal teams to develop and close complex opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B technology, SaaS or consultative sales with a track record of exceeding targets.
• Strong new‑logo acquisition and prospecting skills, comfortable managing the full sales cycle.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate technology into measurable business value.
• Resilient, competitive and curious about AI, automation and the future of work.
