Account Executive (Mid-Market)

About the role

Zeller is seeking a Mid‑Market Account Executive to champion its EFTPOS and business banking solutions for Australian SMEs. You will build strong relationships with business owners, understand their cash‑flow challenges, and position Zeller as the optimal partner.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage small to large businesses through outbound lead generation, door‑to‑door visits, cold calls, emails and referrals.
• Manage the full sales cycle—from planning and qualifying to due diligence and closing—using HubSpot Sales Hub with meticulous pipeline hygiene.
• Translate complex merchant banking needs into simple, compelling solutions and deliver pitches using storytelling, case studies and industry news.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Operations to relay customer feedback and stay current on fintech and payments trends.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on sales experience with a proven record of meeting quarterly targets.
• Strong commercial mindset, competitive fire and resilience in ambiguous environments.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently or remotely, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
• Experience using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
