Account Executive – Commercial Hunter (AUNZ)

About the role

Stripe is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to drive acquisition and growth of mid‑market customers across the Australia‑New Zealand region. You will act as a strategic advisor, guiding companies through the full sales lifecycle and helping them unlock new revenue with Stripe’s platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑potential mid‑market businesses and develop outbound strategies to target new verticals.
• Own the full sales cycle from business case development to closing complex, high‑impact deals.
• Partner with Solutions Architects, Integration Engineers and Channel Partners to resolve user pain points and deepen Stripe integration.
• Provide feedback to Product and Marketing teams to influence roadmap and messaging.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of solution‑sales experience, preferably in the AUNZ region.
• Strong quantitative and problem‑solving abilities, including basic financial modelling and pricing negotiations.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Required skills

• Understanding of technical requirements and ability to craft multi‑product solutions.
• Quantitative analysis and financial modelling capabilities.

What we offer

• Annual OTE range of A$306,500 – A$459,700 (base salary plus commissions/bonuses).
