2nd Year Industrial Electrical Apprentice

About the role

Level Electrical & Automation, an industrial electrical contractor based in Epping, Melbourne, is looking for a motivated 2nd Year Industrial Electrical Apprentice. It is a fully industrial role with hands-on experience in maintenance, breakdowns and installations, with mentoring and training from experienced industrial electricians.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in electrical maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks
• Support breakdown and fault-finding activities under supervision
• Take part in industrial shutdowns and weekend maintenance work
• Assist with industrial electrical installations and upgrades
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Required profile

• Currently undertaking or having completed 2nd year electrical apprenticeship
• Strong interest in industrial electrical work
• Reliable, punctual and committed to workplace safety
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Comfortable working on active industrial sites, or keen to learn
• Based in Melbourne's northern or north-western suburbs preferred

Required skills

• Tickets such as EWP (Elevating Work Platform) or Working at Heights are advantageous but not essential; support for obtaining them is available
• Manual driver's licence preferred but not essential

What we offer

• Salary of AUD 40,000 to 45,000
• Paid overtime and Saturday work with penalty rates
