About the role
Join Chemist Warehouse’s 12‑month Intern Pharmacist Program in Queensland and gain hands‑on experience across clinical and retail pharmacy services. The program combines monthly training sessions with practical duties to prepare you for a career as a qualified pharmacist.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with prescription processing and medication dispensing.
- Provide customer service and medication advice.
- Support inventory control and other pharmacy administrative tasks.
- Participate in monthly interactive training covering clinical pharmacy, retail management, pharmacology and OTC product knowledge.
- Work under the guidance of a dedicated onsite preceptor and program facilitators.
Required profile
- Self‑starter with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service experience.
- Team‑oriented and eager to learn within a community pharmacy setting.
- Enthusiastic about a career in pharmacy and willing to undertake the pre‑registrant year.
