Wellbeing & Workers Compensation Specialist

About the role

As a Wellbeing & Workers Compensation Specialist at ANZ, you will support employees through both work‑related and non‑work‑related health matters. You will manage end‑to‑end workers compensation claims, oversee return‑to‑work rehabilitation, and handle non‑work health cases with a focus on care, clarity and outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize and resolve employee queries and cases in line with service standards.
• Manage and close workers compensation claims, ensuring compliance with the SRC Act and internal policies.
• Coordinate rehabilitation and return‑to‑work consultants, monitoring performance and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate case documentation on internal systems, ensuring timely reporting.
• Communicate proactively with employees, stakeholders and service providers to progress cases.
• Contribute to strategic discussions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong experience in workers compensation claims management.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills, able to work autonomously.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience supporting people with health and medical conditions.
• Tertiary qualification in a health‑related discipline and/or Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management.
• Commitment to teamwork and sharing responsibilities.
