Undergraduate IT Student - Part-Time Placement

About the role

Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is looking for a highly motivated Undergraduate IT Student to join its Clayton campus on a part-time basis (3-4 days per week onsite) for 12 months starting December 2026. The paid placement lets you work alongside industry professionals in a supportive team, with your own tasks and responsibilities, while continuing your tertiary studies.

Key responsibilities

• Support Bosch Oceania colleagues with effective use of computer, mobile and printer hardware and productivity software
• Manage lifecycle replacements of computer and mobile hardware
• Resolve common faults
• Advise on Bosch global products and services available for use

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an Information Technology or similar undergraduate degree, having completed at least 1 year
• Effective written and verbal communication, with a focus on customer and stakeholder relationships
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work well in a team
• Passion for customer service; prior retail or hospitality experience is an advantage
• Australian citizenship or appropriate Australian work rights

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including advanced Excel, SharePoint, Teams and collaboration tools
• Broad knowledge of end-user computing, infrastructure and application environments, including Windows and Apple platforms
• Understanding of data security and cyber awareness
• Interest in emerging technologies such as Generative AI
• Desirable: low-code/no-code platforms with Power BI and IT service management tools such as Service Now
