Turnaround Material Coordinator

About the role

This contract position starts ASAP and runs until December 2027, supporting turnaround materials and logistics for an oil and gas operator. The role is offshore until the end of 2026 on a 2:2 roster with 11‑hour days, then shifts to a Perth office for a 9‑day fortnight schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end material planning, including BOM development in JDE, procurement coordination for long‑lead items, and oversight of kitting, staging, and logistics.
• Manage on‑site material operations and contractor warehouse teams, enforce safety standards, resolve issues, coordinate vendors, and report performance and risks.
• Coordinate material returns, reconciliation, system updates, demobilisation, audit support, cost recovery, and drive continuous improvement and handover to operations.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in materials/supply chain within heavy industry.
• Strong JDE ERP and turnaround materials experience.
• Proficiency with ABU tools and turnaround systems such as P6 and EcoSys.
• FIFO contractor supervision experience and ability to manage fast‑paced, multi‑priority environments.
• Full working rights in Australia (citizen or permanent resident).
