About the role

The Australian Defence Force is seeking motivated individuals to join as Training Systems Officers. This position offers recent graduates and experienced professionals the chance to work within the Air Force, develop leadership skills, and travel to major bases across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on contemporary learning techniques and training management.
• Analyse, design, and evaluate training programmes to meet workplace needs.
• Ensure training quality and standards through rigorous assurance processes.
• Implement and integrate new learning technologies within ADF environments.
• Develop and maintain training policy, strategy, and innovative solutions.
• Offer specialist education and training advice to units.
• Assume leadership and command roles within Air Force training units.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and at least 17 years of age at enlistment.
• Tertiary qualification in education or training relevant to the role.
• Willingness to complete initial military and employment training.
• Ability to work in diverse adult education and VET contexts.
