Tour Guide – Wilpena Resort, Flinders Ranges

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Tour Guide to lead guests on memorable experiences around Wilpena Pound and the Flinders Ranges. The role is guest‑facing, combining storytelling, safety oversight and collaboration with operations and guest services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead guided tours and group experiences throughout Wilpena Pound, sharing the natural, cultural and historical significance of the area.
• Ensure the safety, comfort and well‑being of all participants during tours.
• Prepare tour equipment, assist with basic administrative tasks and maintain tour schedules.
• Represent Wilpena Resort in a professional, welcoming manner and collaborate with the operations team to align tours with resort standards.

Required profile

• Confident communicator who enjoys engaging with individuals and groups.
• Genuine interest in the Flinders Ranges, its culture and environment.
• Friendly, reliable and comfortable working outdoors.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Current driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain one).
• Previous experience in guiding, tourism or hospitality is an advantage.
