Team Sports Specialist

About the role

Red Bull Australia is looking for a Team Sports Specialist to shape the brand's impact in key Australian mainstream team sports. The role keeps the brand connected to the top-watched and played sports, aligns strategies and investments with the biggest opportunities, and owns and delivers existing partnerships in Rugby League and Basketball while shaping future ones. It works closely with all departments in Red Bull Australia to run 360 marketing and sales programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic relationships across Australia's leading team sports, aligned with long-term business priorities.
• Identify market, cultural and competitive trends to find new opportunities for the brand.
• Shape and execute the Team Sports Marketing strategy, developing projects that connect sport, performance, culture and storytelling.
• Collaborate with Global teams on future strategies and innovations in team sports.
• Develop partnership strategies and build relationships with leagues, teams and clubs, supporting negotiations for new partnerships and renewals.
• Deliver marketing activations and coordinate yearly projects on time, on budget and in line with brand standards.
• Provide on-site support at events, shoots and activations, and work with Field Marketing and Sales on game-day promotions, stadium activations and premium hospitality and ticketing.

Required profile

• 4+ years' experience in marketing, sponsorships, partnerships, sports or agency environments.
• Experience working across Australian team sports, leagues, clubs and/or professional athletes.
• Qualified to work in Australia; proof of eligibility may be required.

Required skills

• Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven project management experience, able to lead multiple campaigns, activations and budgets.
• Commercial acumen and creative thinking to identify and deliver new opportunities.
