Team Leader – Therapy

About the role

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking a Team Leader for its Dubbo Therapy Team. This senior therapist role combines hands‑on clinical work with leadership of a multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech pathologists.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of nine local therapists, providing guidance, feedback and performance management.
• Manage a personal caseload of clients, delivering high‑quality therapy services.
• Collaborate with the Therapy Manager, regional leaders and the Orange team to ensure consistent service across the Orana region.
• Participate in the refurbishment of the Gipps Street therapy centre and optimise use of new resources.
• Contribute to leadership development programmes and attend training sessions.

Required profile

• Clinical background as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech Pathologist.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills for team discussions, feedback and risk reporting.
• Flexibility to balance leadership duties with a therapeutic caseload.

Required skills

• Clinical expertise in OT, PT or SP.
• Leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
