Teacher - Edmund Rice Flexible School

About the role

The Teacher at Edmund Rice Flexi School in Davoren Park reports to the Area Principal/Head of Campus and Associate Head of Campus and works collaboratively with all staff. The role carries delegated responsibility for developing and maintaining the campus's learning and social inclusion responses, within the four touchstones of the EREA Charter: Gospel Spirituality, Inclusive Community, Liberating Education and Justice and Solidarity. It is a part-time, permanent position starting in January 2027.

Required profile

• Appropriate teaching qualifications at tertiary level and at least 5 years' professional experience.
• At least 3 years' experience working with young people disenfranchised from mainstream education.
• Experience developing innovative curriculum, making adjustments and differentiating, and experience developing Individual Learning Plans (ILP) or Personal Plans for Learning (PPL).
• Knowledge of teaching processes, frameworks and practice.
• Current First Aid or willingness to obtain it, and current Responding to Abuse and Neglect training or willingness to obtain it.
• A current 'C' driver's licence, as local travel including minivan driving is required.
• Ability to obtain a DHS Working with Children Check and a SAVA clearance through the Archdiocese of Adelaide before commencement.
