Storeperson - Warehouse

About the role

Motion, a supplier of hardware such as bearings, power transmission parts, fluid power fittings, seals, power tools and consumables, is looking for a reliable, safety-focused Storeperson to join its Malaga branch. The role supports the day-to-day operation of the branch warehouse, working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. It is a hands-on position involving receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching stock.

Key responsibilities

• Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
• Provide customer service by phone and email, answering enquiries about products, prices, orders, stock and deliveries.
• Receive, check, store and dispatch stock accurately and efficiently.
• Process customer orders, including confirming order documentation, picking and packing.
• Complete general warehouse duties to keep the work area organised and safe.
• Operate forklifts safely to load and unload deliveries.
• Carry out manual handling in line with workplace health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse and/or customer service experience.
• Reliable transport to and from the workplace.
• Willingness to take part in ongoing training and learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident visa holder; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook.
• Current forklift licence is highly regarded.
• Sound mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial products are highly regarded.
