Solicitor – Litigation & Regulatory (Sydney)

About the role

DLA Piper is expanding its Litigation & Regulatory team in Sydney and seeks a skilled Solicitor to work on high‑value international arbitration and public international law matters. You will collaborate closely with the Asia‑Pacific Co‑Head of International Arbitration and contribute to a practice recognised as Arbitration Practice Group of the Year.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners and peers on the firm’s Australian client strategy.
• Handle international arbitration matters in infrastructure, renewable energy, defence, and public international law, including maritime boundary and climate change issues.
• Support the delivery of high‑quality legal advice across multiple jurisdictions.
• Engage with DLA Piper’s global Litigation & Regulatory network.

Required profile

• 3–4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in large‑scale international arbitration and domestic litigation.
• Strong interest or expertise in public international law.
• Excellent communication, drafting and organisational abilities.
• Team‑oriented and collaborative approach.
