About the role

ANZ’s Small Business Banking team is seeking a dedicated Small Business Lending Specialist to support smart entrepreneurs across Australia. In this permanent, full‑time position you will engage with both existing and prospective customers, understand their financial needs and help them start, run and grow their businesses using ANZ’s suite of solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inbound and outbound conversations with small‑business customers to identify cash‑flow requirements and uncover core financial needs.
• Provide tailored product recommendations based on ANZ’s banking and lending offerings, using a deep understanding of cash‑flow concepts.
• Manage enquiries received via ANZ’s online channels, maintain a structured outreach roster and keep accurate records of interactions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to potential clients.
• Refer complex lending cases to specialist teams while ensuring a seamless customer experience and compliance with risk guidelines.
• Collaborate with product, risk and operations teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality service.
