Site Manager – Boddington Gold Mine (DIDO)

About the role

This position supports the delivery of remediation and protective coating works at the Boddington Gold Mine. Operating on a DIDO roster, the role offers flexibility while providing a clear development pathway into Project Management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with planning, coordination and delivery of site works.
• Provide logistical support including mobilisation planning, material coordination and workforce scheduling.
• Handle administrative tasks such as document control, reporting and project record maintenance.
• Develop understanding of quality documentation (ITPs, check sheets, specifications).
• Support abrasive blasting, protective coating and civil concrete remediation activities.
• Coordinate site activities involving direct labour, subcontractors and plant.
• Track progress, prepare reports and communicate with clients.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and site standards.
• Participate in pre‑starts, toolbox meetings and site inspections.
• Contribute to cost awareness and basic commercial tracking.

Required profile

• Ability to balance site coordination with administrative duties.
• Strong attention to detail, especially around quality and documentation.
• Experience or interest in industrial coatings, blast & paint or concrete remediation.
• Team‑player with a solutions‑focused mindset and commitment to safety.
• Experience in construction, mining, civil or remediation environments.
• Effective communication skills with clients, supervisors and crews.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and quality documents.
• Highly organised, proactive and eager to learn (e.g., NACE, management training).
• Desire to progress into a Project Management role.
