Site Foreman - Stone & Tile

About the role

An established Melbourne stonemason and cladding specialist in the western suburbs is looking for an experienced Site Foreman to lead on-site stone and tile installations across residential and commercial projects. You will run the job on site, coordinating installers and trades, setting the standard for finish quality and ensuring every project is delivered on time, safely and defect-free. The role suits someone who has come up through the trade in stone or tile and is ready to take charge of the site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate install crews and subcontract trades on site
• Set out and supervise stone benchtop, cladding and tile installations
• Own quality control: check finishes, manage defects and handovers
• Read plans and drawings, set out work and confirm site measures
• Keep sites safe, tidy and compliant (SWMS, White Card)
• Liaise with builders, clients and the fabrication workshop
• Keep projects on schedule and report progress to management

Required profile

• Proven experience as a foreman or leading hand in stone or tile
• Strong knowledge of benchtop, cladding and/or tile installation
• Able to read plans, set out work and run site measures
• Confident leading crews and coordinating trades on site
• Sharp eye for finish quality, defects and handovers
• Current White Card and driver's licence
• Reliable, organised and safety-focused
