Senior Web Application Tester

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Senior Web Application Tester to join its delivery team in Sydney. You will lead testing activities for enterprise web applications, ensuring high quality and reliability across functional, integration, system, regression, and end‑to‑end scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases for web applications.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Validate REST APIs using Postman and SOAP UI and verify data integrity through SQL queries.
• Collaborate with Agile development teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
• Manage defects and track test progress using Azure DevOps and JIRA.
• Provide testing expertise for utility sector clients such as AEMO, Jemena, and AGL.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in software testing within enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience testing web applications and APIs.
• Proven ability to work in Agile delivery frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
