Senior Structural Engineer – Construction Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Construction Engineering team in Melbourne. The role focuses on delivering detailed design of temporary works and supporting major building and transport infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design temporary works and assess their impact on permanent structures.
• Collaborate with clients, Project Directors and Associates throughout project lifecycles.
• Manage project resources and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
• Maintain RBG’s standards of innovation, technical excellence and quality.
• Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to guarantee coordinated and high-quality outputs.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian codes and standards.
• Experience producing detailed engineering drawings.
• Solid background in steel and concrete design.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Project-management experience covering administrative, commercial and technical aspects.
• Full working rights in Australia.
