Senior Site Manager – Commercial Fit-Out (10-20M+ Projects)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead multiple commercial fit‑out and refurbishment sites across Australia. You will ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery of projects ranging from $10M to $20M+, working closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily delivery of construction projects to drawings, specifications and agreed timeframes.
• Conduct onsite HSE and quality inductions for all staff and subcontractors.
• Complete daily site diary entries and maintain accurate records.
• Review and resolve key project issues, liaising with statutory bodies as required.
• Establish and maintain site compounds, amenities and organise inspections with clients, authorities and consultants.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing scopes of work and understanding contract timeframes.
• Produce and manage defect lists for subcontractors prior to finishing works.

Required profile

• Trade or building‑related qualification.
• 5‑10+ years’ site supervision experience on construction projects, including planning, programming and managing onsite staff/subcontractors.
• Construction Safety Induction (White) card and Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Desirable: Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Strong knowledge of building legislation, regulations and standards.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate subcontractors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
