Senior Project Manager – Fit-Out $5m to $20m+

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high‑specification commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects valued between $5 million and $20 million. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from conversion through hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, budget, schedule and resource allocation.
• Monitor progress, track milestones and enforce quality standards.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and clear communication throughout the project.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Document and manage quality issues and drive continuous improvement of project management processes.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience delivering fit‑out or refurbishment projects for 2nd/3rd‑tier contractors.
• Proven leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Strong knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Construction management software such as Jobpac, Procore or Asta Powerproject.
