Senior Regulation Officer

About the role

The Senior Regulation Officer provides policy, regulatory and statutory support to the Registrar of Titles and Land Registry Services within Victoria’s Department of Transport and Planning. This full‑time fixed‑term position (until 31 December 2026) involves research, analysis and drafting to aid decision‑making on land registration and conveyancing matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research, analysis and drafting to support land registration and conveyancing decisions.
• Coordinate reporting, briefing documents and business processes for the Registrar of Titles.
• Collaborate with government agencies, industry stakeholders and national reform initiatives to advance electronic conveyancing.
• Assist in regulatory improvements and ensure the integrity and reliability of Victoria’s land register.
• Support the implementation of statutory and policy frameworks that strengthen confidence in the property market.
