Paralegal – Family Law (AI Product Support)

About the role

This position sits within a technology team, combining traditional family‑law paralegal work with product support for an AI‑driven legal platform. You will act as the human safety net for the AI, handling cases where the system needs manual intervention and turning those moments into product improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to real‑time inbound requests from law firms via messaging platforms, with full case context.
• Enter the backend of the AI system to correct, complete, or finalize work the AI could not finish.
• Communicate directly with clients and lawyers by phone to clarify needs and ensure accurate outcomes.
• Document every manual fix as a clear product ticket for the development team, highlighting the underlying issue and suggested enhancement.
• Prioritise a reactive queue of requests, delivering timely resolutions.
• Assist firms in preparing existing matters for integration with the AI Paralegal solution.
• Collaborate with product teams to test and refine new features for family‑law practices.

Required profile

• Solid experience as a family‑law paralegal, preferably across multiple firms.
• Confidence interacting with family lawyers and the ability to push back when necessary.
• Strong judgment in ambiguous situations, reading between the lines to determine true client needs.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication for creating precise product tickets.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Intercom or similar real‑time messaging platforms.
