Senior Product Designer

About the role

Luxury Escapes is a fast-growing travel platform with more than 8 million members, based in its Sydney office on Kent Street near Wynyard station. It is looking for a Senior Product Designer to take the lead on end-to-end products across multiple channels, improving how customers discover and book their holidays. The designer owns the whole design process, from concept to delivery, within a collaborative team that meets face-to-face five days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Understand user needs and business goals and turn them into user-friendly solutions
• Generate wireframes, visual mock-ups and prototypes that are tested, validated and iterated
• Communicate design ideas clearly to stakeholders and take feedback constructively
• Validate and improve designs through customer testing

Required profile

• Extensive experience in user-centred product design, with a proven track record of leading end-to-end design for complex digital products
• Expert in Figma, with deep knowledge of prototyping and design systems
• Works well independently and with cross-functional teams such as product managers and engineers
• Deep understanding of responsive design and attention to detail for detailed handovers to engineering
• Able to manage priorities in fast-paced environments and meet tight timelines
• A portfolio showing product thinking and UI/UX design; e-commerce and travel experience is a bonus
