Senior Network Engineer – Adelaide

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a high‑tech robotics company in Adelaide. The role focuses on designing, configuring and testing communication links that enable telemetry and data exchange for precision robotics systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement IP‑based communication architectures for robotics platforms.
• Configure, test and optimise routing, switching and QoS settings.
• Develop and validate RF links (S‑band, C‑band, LTE/5G, satellite) for reliable data transmission.
• Ensure secure communications through encryption and key‑management solutions.
• Use Linux networking tools and diagnostics (Wireshark, iPerf) to troubleshoot and improve performance.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate networking solutions into robotic systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in network or communications engineering within defence or telecom sectors.
• Australian citizenship (required for security clearance).
• Ability to work onsite in Adelaide on a permanent basis.
• Senior‑level expertise with a strong track record of delivering complex networking projects.
