Senior Network Architect – Data Center Modernization

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect / Lead Engineer to drive large‑scale data‑center network modernization projects. The role focuses on Cisco Nexus, NDFC, VXLAN EVPN, and advanced switching & routing technologies in enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, migration, and optimization of Cisco Nexus‑based data‑center networks.
• Architect and deploy VXLAN EVPN multi‑site/multi‑pod solutions using NDFC.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of network engineers.
• Develop high‑level and low‑level designs, migration strategies, implementation plans, and test procedures.
• Drive data‑center transformation projects from design through delivery.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, architects, and vendors to ensure successful outcomes.
• Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of complex network issues.
• Support network automation and orchestration initiatives using Python, Ansible, APIs, and scripting.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in data‑center networking with proven team leadership.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches, NDFC/DCNM, VXLAN EVPN fabric, spine‑leaf design, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, EIGRP, MP‑BGP EVPN).
• Experience delivering large‑scale network transformation and migration programs.
• Understanding of data‑center interconnect, resiliency, and disaster‑recovery architectures.
• Experience with network automation using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, JSON, or shell scripting.
