About the role
Pental, a proud member of the DuluxGroup, is seeking a high‑performing sales leader to own the Woolworths & Big W portfolio. You will drive sales, profit, distribution and new product success across key national accounts in the FMCG sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with business strategy, category drivers and market opportunities.
- Deliver on commercial targets for sales, profit, volume, share and new product development KPIs.
- Manage the Woolworths & Big W budget, monitoring revenue, volume and profit margin performance.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including joint business growth plans and regular reviews.
- Lead promotional planning and trade‑spend strategy to maximise sales and profitability.
- Provide high‑quality analysis, financial reporting and forecasting to support internal and customer decision‑making.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager or National Business Manager within FMCG, preferably with major grocery retailers.
- Strong selling, negotiation and strategic customer‑management capabilities.
- Experience managing customer portfolios across competitive categories.
- Strong analytical capability, including working with data sources.
- Experience using promotional programme tools and delivering commercial insights.
- Excellent communication, commercial judgement and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
