Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead project delivery, engage with clients, mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of our Mechanical Engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engineering projects to high technical standards, complying with legislation, standards and Advitech's Integrated Management System.
• Engage with clients to understand challenges, support business development and expand mechanical engineering services.
• Plan, schedule and manage resources to ensure efficient project execution and meet business performance objectives.
• Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a collaborative high‑performance team environment.
• Contribute to the Mechanical Group’s multi‑year strategy, quality, compliance and business management systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia.
• 7‑10 years relevant industry experience.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or eligibility, with RPEQ/RPEV where required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical legislative, technical and legal requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
