Senior Developer – IBM ODM, .NET & Power BI

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Developer to support a federal government client across Queensland, ACT, Victoria and New South Wales. The role involves designing, developing and implementing on‑premises and cloud‑based applications and reporting solutions using IBM Operational Decision Manager.NET technologies and Power BI.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain business rules using IBM ODM.
• Build and support .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs).
• Create Power BI dashboards, data models and reports.
• Work within a governance‑driven environment, adhering to change management, risk and security policies.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and translate business requirements into effective solutions.
• Collaborate with agile teams (Scrum) and communicate with stakeholders and technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience delivering large‑scale ICT solutions.
• Baseline security clearance.
• Proven experience in a structured, governance‑driven development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in agile delivery models.
