Senior Desktop and Systems Support Engineer (Mac and Windows)

About the role

Bluefin Resources is looking for a seasoned IT support professional to take ownership of hands-on L2/L3 support in a fast-paced, high-performing technology team. The role suits someone who can solve complex problems, support senior stakeholders and act as a tech lead while mentoring junior staff. It is based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver level 3 support across a mixed Windows and macOS environment.
• Troubleshoot Google Workspace, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, Jamf and identity/access issues.
• Own escalations, prioritise competing demands and resolve issues independently.
• Provide hands-on device builds, troubleshooting and meeting room support.
• Support onsite events and executive stakeholders, delivering a first-class customer experience.
• Share knowledge and guide junior support team members.

Required profile

• Proven L2/L3 support experience in a corporate environment.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the confidence to take ownership.
• A customer-first mindset, strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
• A practical, proactive approach, comfortable getting hands on.
