Senior Consultant – Recruitment & Executive Search

About the role

Kaizen Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to lead specialist recruitment and retained executive search projects within the financial services sector. You will work closely with directors and senior leadership, contributing to a variety of strategic initiatives while managing client and candidate relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage specialist recruitment assignments across financial services, building trusted relationships with clients and candidates.
• Partner with directors on senior retained executive search assignments (CEO, CIO, CFO, CRO, COO, etc.).
• Conduct market mapping, talent identification, competitor research and executive assessments.
• Prepare candidate profiles, market intelligence reports and client presentations.
• Support internal projects to improve business processes, systems and recruitment delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams on initiatives that strengthen market presence and client engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, executive search or a related discipline.
• Strong sourcing, research and candidate assessment capabilities.
• Excellent written communication, attention to detail and ability to produce professional client‑facing documentation.
• Confidence engaging with senior professionals and building trusted relationships.
• Commercially minded, proactive and organised.

Required skills

• Proficiency in recruitment sourcing tools and techniques.
• Experience preparing market intelligence and client presentation materials.
