Senior Consultant – Corporate Tax Compliance

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Delivery and Data Excellence (DDX) team in Australia. You will lead complex corporate tax compliance engagements for financial services clients, leveraging cutting‑edge technology and data‑driven tools.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex company and trust tax returns, distribution reviews, and tax provisions.
• Deliver high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services to financial services clients, ensuring timely and accurate outcomes.
• Collaborate with high‑performing teams, using tax return engines, workflow tools, and data analytical technology.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, innovating processes and enhancing technology solutions.
• Maintain rigorous quality standards and uphold KPMG’s ethical values.

Required profile

• Strong Australian corporate tax compliance experience, including preparation and review of company and trust returns.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce client‑ready deliverables.
• Honest, ethical approach with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative and influencing skills.
• Can‑do attitude and willingness to generate innovative ideas.

Required skills
