Senior Banking Consultant

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Banking Consultant to join its Retail Banking team in Orange, NSW. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, helping them navigate a full range of banking products and services while delivering a relationship‑focused experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a product initiator and role model for ANZ’s banking solutions.
• Support the Branch Manager in implementing the retail strategy and daily branch operations.
• Provide customers with advice on home loans, insurance, investment products and transactional services.
• Conduct needs‑based conversations, especially guiding customers through the home‑buyer journey.
• Maintain a strong ‘know your customer’ approach from a risk perspective.

Required profile

• Proven experience building strong relationships in a customer‑focused environment.
• Significant background in financial services, preferably retail banking.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Leadership and coaching capabilities to support junior staff.
