Senior Agribusiness Relationship Manager

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional who is passionate about agriculture and financial services to lead a high‑value, complex agribusiness portfolio in Emerald, Queensland. In this role you will partner closely with the District Manager to shape portfolio strategy, manage risk and deliver outstanding outcomes for our most significant agri clients.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end accountability for a complex, high‑value agribusiness portfolio, balancing growth, risk and customer outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and holistic financial solutions aligned to long‑term business goals.
• Lead portfolio performance through disciplined credit management, proactive risk identification and strict adherence to policy and governance frameworks.
• Design, implement and monitor annual portfolio business and growth plans, including marketing and engagement strategies.
• Partner with the District Manager on regional strategy, pipeline management and opportunity prioritisation.
• Collaborate across Agri, Commercial and Small Business channels to deliver integrated solutions and a seamless customer experience.
• Drive customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in agribusiness banking at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of regional agricultural markets.
• Ability to balance customer advocacy with rigorous risk discipline.
• Excellent relationship‑building and advisory skills.
