Senior Accountant – Business Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team. You will work closely with managers and partners to deliver high‑quality accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio. This role provides exposure to a broad range of technical work and clear pathways for career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns and supporting work papers.
• Deliver accounting, taxation and business advisory services to clients.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist with workflow management, billing and work‑in‑progress tracking.
• Identify opportunities for additional advisory services.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal initiatives.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification (completed or near completion).
• At least 3 years’ experience in public practice.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and tax standards.
• Proactive, team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Genuine desire to develop and progress your career.

Required skills

• Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems.
