Security Engineer – Remote Opportunities

About the role

CYBERR is seeking Security Engineers for a range of leading organisations worldwide. The positions are fully remote and span junior to senior levels, covering cloud, infrastructure, network and application security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls to protect networks, systems and data.
• Monitor, detect and respond to security incidents, including vulnerability identification and risk mitigation.
• Conduct security and vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and threat investigations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build and maintain secure architectures.
• Develop, enforce and audit security policies, procedures and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, GDPR).
• Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities and security trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in network, systems, application or cloud security.
• Hands‑on with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM and endpoint protection solutions.
• Familiarity with penetration testing, vulnerability scanning and incident response.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) is a plus.
• Ability to script/automate tasks using Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are advantageous.
