Sales Consultant – Retail Furniture

About the role

Plush, Australia’s leading sofa specialist, is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join its Kotara showroom team. You will be the face of the brand, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales of high‑quality furniture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service, guiding shoppers through the Plush sofa experience.
• Utilise product knowledge and selling techniques to meet daily and weekly sales targets.
• Accurately complete sales orders and internal paperwork to ensure timely processing.
• Promote add‑on sales and room‑solution recommendations to maximise transaction value.
• Collaborate with the Showroom Manager on visual merchandising, pricing accuracy, and showroom standards.

Required profile

• Previous sales experience, preferably in furniture, luxury goods, jewellery, cars, or similar high‑value items.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to receive feedback, learn quickly and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to handle multiple responsibilities.
