Risk Management Specialist – Remote, up to $1450 per task

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management Expert to work remotely on a contract basis. You will evaluate AI‑generated outputs against regulatory standards and help improve compliance‑focused AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess AI‑generated content for alignment with regulatory requirements and internal compliance programs.
• Create realistic compliance and risk scenarios, such as regulatory examinations and audit findings.
• Annotate, label, and validate data across use cases like control testing and regulatory change management.
• Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy regarding standards (FINRA, OCC, FFIEC, FDA, SEC, GDPR, HIPAA) and risk frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000).
• Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs.
• Background in compliance program management, enterprise risk management, or regulatory affairs.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate regulatory workflows into structured tasks.
• Clear written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
