Relationship Manager – Retail Broker (Melbourne)

About the role

The Relationship Manager will manage an allocated portfolio of aggregators and brokers, driving business growth for ANZ’s Retail Broker division in Melbourne. You will build strong, face‑to‑face relationships, understand clients’ objectives and deliver tailored sales strategies that increase portfolio conversion and broker satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deepen relationships with assigned aggregators and brokers to achieve segmented sales targets and portfolio growth.
• Analyse data and reporting to extract insights and shape sales strategies at both portfolio and individual broker levels.
• Monitor broker portfolio KPIs, identify growth opportunities and implement quality‑improvement actions.
• Deliver targeted education and training programmes to brokers and aggregator groups in line with channel standards.
• Represent ANZ at local aggregator and sponsored events to strengthen market presence.
• Collaborate with internal partners such as Private Banking, Corporate and Commercial teams to expand share‑of‑wallet.
• Work closely with Business Support Managers to support loan application pipelines and ensure positive customer experiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building and managing relationships with financial aggregators and brokers.
• Strong analytical ability to use data and reporting tools for strategic decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for face‑to‑face engagement and training delivery.
• Solid understanding of risk‑management practices within a banking environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional internal teams.
