About the role
Working with a dedicated Assistant Manager, you will manage a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses in Darwin, connecting with passionate owners across various industries. By understanding their financial needs you will drive growth through acquisition, increase share of wallet and generate referrals, supported by new systems and technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Provide customers with appropriate solutions by understanding their needs.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external networks to support deal design and execution.
- Structure deals in conjunction with relevant product and specialist teams.
- Proactively manage credit and operational risks.
- Apply Relationship Credit Approval discretion as appropriate.
Required profile
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of commercial mid-market banking products.
- Ability to understand customers' business needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Experience assessing, advising, monitoring and/or approving a customer's credit.
